Looking for a great and important experience this summer? Consider Summer Stock, a three-week theater immersion workshop leading to performance. Open to all levels of experiencebeginner to experienced will find this workshop beneficial and fun for all! Previous acting experience is helpful but not required. A worthwhile chance for you and your friends to work together.
Students will participate in a 12 session theater immersion workshop including basic warm-up techniques (physical and vocal), hands-on acting techniques, creative movement, improvisation, character creation and development, and scene work. Students will discover how they interact with each other and their environment and will learn to work, individually and in groups, exploring character and scene development. A production of selected monologues and stage scenes will take place at the end of the workshop which will be open to the public.
