Description:
    Alice Kociembas recent poems and haiku have or will appear in the Aurorean, Bluelines, Plainsongs, Salamander, Slant, and Roanoke Review. She won an International Merit Award from the Atlanta Review (2008) for Death of Teaticket Hardware, the title poem of her chapbook (2010). Alice has been a featured poet at the Massachusetts Poetry Festival, the Provincetown Poetry Festival, Chapter & Verse, and has opened for Robert Pinsky at the Brookline Poetry Series. She is also the director of Calliope, a Community for Poets (which holds Sunday afternoon readings at West Falmouth Library).
