Barnstable Memorial Day Parade
Staging 9:30 AM Monday at the Centerville Library. 10:00 AM start. Organizations marching include: the color guards from the Barnstable Police Department and Centerville-Osterville Marstons Mills Fire Department; VFW Dennis Thomas Post and auxiliary; the Korean War Veterans, Cape Cod Chapter 1; Disabled American Veterans Chapter 96 and auxiliary; Cape & Islands Nam Veterans Association; American Legion Post 206; Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts; the Barnstable Middle School and award winning Barnstable High School bands. Parade stops at Monument Square for a ceremony at the town's Civil War Monument. Parade then continues to Beechwood Cemetery for additional ceremony.
