The Cape Organization for Rights of the Disabled (CORD) is hosting a Battle of the Voice and Bands competition on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Harwich High School starting at 12:30. The competition is open to students in grades 5 through 12 across Cape Cod. The winning band will be chosen by a panel of four judges that include; Rick Harte of Ace of Hearts Records, Alexa DeVoe of nDgroove Devoe Music Record Label and Qantum of Cape Cod radio personalities; Kevin Matthews of 106 WCOD and John Taylor of Cool 102.

The winning band will receive the opportunity to create a demo with nDgroove DeVoe Music Record Label, produce a video demo with Cape Cod Community Media Center and play at CORDs Family Fun Day June 23rd among other gifts. Each participant or group will play two songs, one original and one well known song. The American Idol style panel will critique the participants and in the end choose the winner based on musicality, performance, creativity and audience appeal. Come cheer on local Cape talent and help choose the winner. If they have the talent, we have the opportunity!
