WHAT: Outermost Contra Dance WHEN: Friday, May 18, 2018 WHERE: Wellfleet Preservation Hall, 335 Main Street, Wellfleet, MA CALLER: Rich Sbardella MUSICIANS: Jacqueline Schwab and Amy Larkin Suggested donation is $10. $20 maximum per group. Outermost Contra is happy to welcome back Providence-born-and-raised Rich Sbardella. Rich has been calling contra dances in New England for more than 25 years. He will lead us through contras, squares, mixers and fun family dances. Renowned pianist Jacqueline Schwab will team with local favorite dance fiddler, Amy Larkin, to provide lively music for fun dancing. Contra dancing is the older cousin to the square dance. No fancy footwork needed if you can walk, you can dance! All the dances are taught and called. If youre new to contra dance, be sure to get in on the early dances for the basic moves. And dont miss out on our welcoming and delicious potluck at 6. Outermost Contra is one of many contradances on the Cape, and was organized in December of 2014. The contra dance is family friendly and welcomes dancers of all levels.

Outermost Contra hosts traditional New England contradances on the Outer Cape with live music every third Friday of each month.
