Description:
A varied program of classical selections and Broadway medleys, featuring the Rienzi Overture by Richard Wagner, Clair De Lune by Claude Debussy, a suite of Three Songs of Chopin and a 20th century piece by Czech-American composer Vaclav Nelhybel titled A Might Fortress. Guest vocalists Diana Landeau, soprano and Rev. Cannon Charles Morris, tenor, will join the orchestra in selections from West Side Story, South Pacific, Carousel and other Broadway musical theater. Cape Community Orchestra is an all-volunteer group from across the Cape. This concert is part of an annual concert series sponsored through grants and private donations.
