The Ceremony begins at the World War Memorial located at the Community Center. The procession then proceeds to Oyster Pond to lay a wreath on the waters in memory of those Lost at Sea and then to the adjacent Korean and Vietnam Memorial. The Ceremony then proceeds to the Civil War Memorial at Seaview Street and Main Street for a reading of the Gettysburg Address. Afterwards participants will be led back to the Rotary by Bagpiper Sarah Marchio for further music, speeches and the conclusion.
Participants include the Chatham VFW Honor Guard, Color Guard, members of the Chatham VFW and American Legion, and the Ladies and Men's Auxiliary to the Chatham VFW. Boy scouts, girl scouts, cub scouts and brownies. Capt. Kate Hansen, Chatham Fire Department, will play Taps at each site.
There will be representatives from the Chatham Coast Guard along with the Coast Guard Auxiliary."

In the event of inclement weather the Ceremony will take place at the Community Center.

Mark Butler, Commander of the Chatham VFW, will be this years Master of Ceremonies.
