Description:
These screenings, offered by the Alzheimer's Services, are by appointment only at 30 minute intervals. The screening entails a brief cognitive test for people who have not previously been diagnosed with dementia. The goal is to identify people with potential problems who might need a more extensive evaluation. This will also provide a baseline for future comparisons. Secondary goals include education and reassurance for adults with age-associated changes in their memory who may worry they have dementia. These screenings are free and confidential.
