Description:
Apr 17 10-11 a.m. RSVP-Free Our history, as far back as we can go with any certainty and proof, takes us to the village of Banbury, Oxenshire, England to the home and tailor shop of our ancestor, Matthew Wynge. Matthew was born about 1548 presumably in England. Matthews wife and the mother of all of his children was Mary. A brief history and background discussion of the first two Wing Family members to arrive in New England will take place along with the Wing Family of America, Inc. its purpose, goals and history. Deborah Wing, currently residing in Yarmouth will assist in the discussion. Albert Glasstetter will talk about the current use of the Wing Fort House in Sandwich and recent archeological findings.
