Weather permitting we will head outdoors and meet at various local locations to practice our sketching skills out in nature and while watching the crowds in and around town. Bring a sketchbook, pencil and a camera if you would like. Easy, fun drawing lessons for everyone will be taught by Mary Richmond who has taught drawing and painting for over 30 years to both children and adults and has worked in most of the Cape art and environmental education centers over the years, starting back in 1979. After being away for awhile, in the mid 90s she found her way back to outdoor and environmental education working with the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary and the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History. Mary loves to teach and has developed workshops integrating science teaching with the arts.
