Description:
In conjunction with the exhibit.Boston piano expert Philip Schoonmaker will give a free lecture on April 12 at 3pm.This traveling exhibit celebrates the American-made instrument that is widely acknowledged as the world's finest piano. Free and open to the public. The exhibit is sponsored by M. Steinert & Sons of Boston, the oldest music store in America. It features a Steinway Model B Grand Piano that has been cross-sectioned to expose its inner workings, as well as an historical timeline and videos on the year-long manufacturing process that goes into every Steinway piano. All are welcome.
