    Massachusetts Maritime Academy graduate Captain Richard Phillips is famous for standing up to Somali pirates.
Now hes taking a stand against Lyme disease.
Phillips is scheduled to talk about his experiences on the high seas at 6 p.m., Saturday, at the Barnstable High School Performing Arts Center, and all the proceeds are going to a new Lyme disease and wellness center in Mashpee.
6:00 pm - Barnstable High School Performing Arts Center. To be followed at 8:30pm by a dinner, a meet and greet and book signing at the Yarmouth House in West Yarmouth.
Tickets for the talk only are $25 online or at the Brewster Book Store and $30 at the door.
