Gallery Reception March 29th Four regional female painters, working in the abstract genre, honor both the work of the previous generation of women painters who struggled for recognition, and the work and accomplishments of contemporary women artists in Paint! - a group exhibition in Higgins Gallery at Cape Cod Community College. Susan Carr, Irene Lipton, Susan Post and Jo Ann Rothschild are first and foremost accomplished painters, transcending technique and subject. Their work is deeply personal, uniquely individual, obviating the sheer pleasure and sensuousness of the medium, Paint! A gallery reception will be held on Thursday, March 29th from 5-7pm.
