    Gardening History of Cape Cod
Illustrated lecture about the history of gardening on Cape Cod, from the Colonial era through the early 20th century presented by Leslie Evans, director of the Avery-Copp House Museum, who has designed historic gardens for several museums.
Topics will include gardening as it was practiced by European colonists in the 17th century, the impact of exotic plants brought home during the great age of maritime trade, and changes in gardening styles during the Victorian era.
