"Climate Change and Cape Cod: Needing to Play Both Offense and Defense" with Environmental Geologist, Tom Stone
After discussing general aspects of climate change, Mr. Stone will discuss the three primary problems facing Cape Cod and the Islands due to ongoing climate change: sea level rise, increased storminess, and the lesser known aspect of ocean acidification. He will describe the background of the issues, their likely future consequences, as well as how we can work with local groups and organizations to help mitigate these problems.
