    New England Society for Abandoned Animals Looking for Volunteers and Interns for Spring and Summer
The New England Society for Abandoned Animals (NESAA) is looking for Volunteers and Interns to support all NESAA programs and activities.
NESAA is currently looking to fill the following volunteers or intern positions: " Writers " Photographers " Website geek to help with web site updates (Word Press experience desired) and research free software for volunteer tracking/shelter tracking-stats, recommend and support implementation " Film/Video student to help generate professional quality videos on various programs " Vet tech " Veterinarian " Management graduate to help review operations procedures and offer suggestions for improvement on management of staff/volunteers and protocols, present improvements and help implement them during internship.
QUALIFICATIONS The best candidates for these positions will have excellent communications skills, a fine attention to detail, the ability to work independently and meet deadlines and a willingness to learn. Experience with basic software (Excel, Word) is required; specialized knowledge essential. A commitment of at least 3 hours a week is desired. A committed time frame and committed hours are essential. For internships, an intern project plan is to be laid out and agreed on. Please also provide references.

NESAA is a charitable 501 (c) (3) organization, registered with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, with the following mission: To advocate, protect and rescue, abandoned and abused animals using a proactive, humane approach. NESAA is committed to its "no kill" programs, increasing community awareness and creating progressive changes in animal welfare.
NESAA gets called often to help take care of animals that have been abandoned or not well cared for. To date it supported more than 5,000 animals with Direct Rescue and Care or provided Spay/Neuter assistance for community members who cannot afford it.
