    Actress (The Sopranos) and author Marianne Leone will give a free talk about her memoir on the untimely death of her son at 6:30 p.m. for an evening about pediatric rehabilitation at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Cape Cod, 311 Service Road, East Sandwich.
Leone, who is also the wife of Academy Award-winning actor Chris Cooper, will share their struggle to get medical and educational experts to recognize their son's potential and allow him to thrive that she wrote about in Knowing Jesse: A Mother's Story of Grief, Grace and Everyday Bliss. Jesse Cooper was an honor-roll student who loved to windsurf and write poetry. He also had severe cerebral palsy and was quadriplegic, unable to speak, and wracked by seizures before dying suddenly at age 17.
