Description:
The Gloriae Dei Cantores Choir will embark on its 2014 concert series with a Lenten concert at 7:30 p.m. at the Church of the Configuration, 5 Bay View Drive, Rock Harbor, Orleans. There will be a second performance by the internationally known choir at the same time Saturday. The program will feature Baroque choral masterpieces with orchestra: Jesu, der du meine Seele by J.S. Bach and Membra Jesu nostri by Dieterich Buxtehude. A pre-concert lecture will take place at 6:45 p.m. and a reception will follow the show. Tickets: $35, $30 for seniors, free for students and ages 18 and under.
