Description:
Una Noche . Do you enjoy practicing Spanish and learning about the culture of Latin America and Spain? If so, come talk music, food and drink, art, and more! Basic conversation skills are preferred, but its okay to learn as you go. Each month focuses on a different topic. Our guest speaker for March is Christine Esperson, a full time professor at Cape Cod Community College's language department who has been teaching at the college for 24 years. She received her degrees from La Universidad Interamericana in Puerto Rico, where she grew up and lived there for 26 years. She will give a talk on her life experiences living in Puerto Rico, titled: Puerto Rico: la isla del encanto, a gringa raised in paradise.
