    Live Music at the Library - Jacqueline Schwab Saturday, March 11, 1:00 p.m.
Jacqueline Schwab will perform her signature arrangements of American heart songs, honoring the improvisational spirit of historical community music while also simultaneously exploring more modern sounds.
The audience will hear vintage American Stephen Foster and Civil War tunes, Victorian ballroom dance tunes, imported Scots and Irish songs and fiddle tunes, hymns and spirituals, and ragtimeplus Latin waltzes and tango, World War I-era music, Billie Holiday blues, and more. Some pieces will be joyous, others reflective.
She will introduce and speak about the pieces, to connect listeners to music from their heritage and other cultures.
