Now entering its 5th year, the Bold Company (BoldCo) is a free educational program for Cape Cod residents age 55+ interested in learning the craft of acting through a fun and friendly rehearsal and production process. BoldCo is for those with little to no experience but lots of enthusiasm, designed to open the door for non-actors into the many benefits gained from a life in the arts.
The Crucible by Arthur Miller is an award-winning play and a classic of the American theatrical canon. Set in Salem during the 17th century witch trials, The Crucible is a provocative exploration of the past paralleled with a commentary on contemporary society.
The Bold Company features a talented group of over 20 residents from across the Cape supported by Cape Rep Company artists including director Julie Allen Hamilton, Robin McLaughlin (costume design), Susan Nicholson (lighting design), Alison Weller (voice and speech coach), Holly Erin McCarthy (stage management), and Janine Perry (Producing Artistic Director).
