The event will be held at the Resort & Conference Center in Hyannis on March 30, 2012, from 7:00-9:00 am. Murphy is founder of Cape Cod Charitable Fundraisers, better known for its signature events: The Last Gasp, Roll the Rock, and The Spectacle of Trees. For the past 21 years, Murphy has grown what was an end-of-summer bicycle ride among two or three friends into an organization that has raised millions of dollars for health and human service and arts and cultural not-for-profit organizations across the Cape. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to the local community, Murphy has raised funds from enjoyable and attractive events. The attention to detail that Murphy shares with our community has benefited thousands through engaging volunteers and fostering collaboration among not-for-profit organizations to enhance and support the quality of life for all of us who call Cape Cod our home.
