Strobe photography, long exposure photography for special effects, the intentional use of camera motion, changing camera orientation during the time of exposure, the creation of montages, and macro photography for abstraction will all be covered. Jim will explain how practicing these techniques has caused him to expand his vision and appreciation of some of the natural world. He will present images resulting from each of the techniques and will explain exactly how each image was created. He will also demonstrate specific equipment required for some of these approaches.
