Description:
Founded as the PAAM filmArt Series by John Ives, Howard Karren, and Joe Fiorello in 2005-06, it began as a program of films about art and films as art screened at the Provincetown Art Association and Muse
um galleries with folded chairs and followed by animated discussions. Over time the series grew in popularity, and in 2010 Howard Karren moved it to the Provincetown Film Societys Waters Edge Cinema, where it is now ensconced. From November through May, the Film Art Series screens 15 films per season, co-presented by the Museum and the Film Society as a community service.
The line-up of titles is curated by Howard, who introduces the films and leads a discussion afterward.
Season pass $135; individual tickets available at theater.
