    Film Festival: 100 Years of Parks, 100 Years of Films at Salt Pond Visitor Center, 50 Nauset Road, Eastham This year's film festival showcases silent films from the last century, and later films they inspired. Films run from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM - January 24 - 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
This silent sci-fi classic is based on the Jules Verne novel that recounts the tale of the notorious, power-mad Captain Nemo. The film's astonishing underwater photography is far ahead of its time. (1916)
